Lo Pepe Molina. Almayate. Open since 1970, Lo Pepe Molina has become a gastronomic benchmark in the Axarquia region. At the heart of the business is the grilled meats (carne a la brasa), for which they are famous and the traditional way in which the meats are cooked in the wood-fired ovens. Undoubtedly the roasted leg of pork cooked on the spit is a firm favorite and can be enjoyed as a full plate or as a tapa at the bar. As well as the wonderful selection of meat and meat dishes available, seafood, fish and rice dishes also feature on the menu creating a diverse and extensive variation of dishes to suit all tastes and budgets. Lo Pepe Molina offers a daily menu, tapas, a full a la carte menu, homemade desserts, great wines, chilled local and international beers and quite possibly some of the best coffee for miles around. The large dining areas are beautifully decorated in a traditional Andalusian style and the magnificient terraces offer sea views and plenty of shade during the hot summer months.

Every Saturday, Sunday and Festivals we offer our special ‘Pork Spit Roast ‘. A plate of fabulous pork meat for just 5.00 euros. A bouncy castle is also available to entertain the children.
